Today, on the Panamerican Chemist´s Day, we want to congratulate and thank all of those people who improve our lives with their knowledge.

It´s important that all of us knows about this industry and science, as well as the advances and improvements that chemistry have constantly. Today’s a day to really value this science, to put our attention cause it’s one of the most important things in our society.

This is a phrase that chemists uses, but it’s not just a slogan, «Everything is chemistry from the takeoff of a space rocket to the respiration of a bee, through lithium batteries, cosmetic creams, phone cases, photosynthesis of plants, our different moods, the food we have… and also the climate change, the hydrogen bomb or the so-called chemical weapons… everything is chemistry.» (Izzo,2014)

Thanks to the research, processes and discoveries, society has access to food, medicines, health, different types of energy, and even all the knowledge of the human body, the origin of life, the human genome, the environment and a lot of information that we use day by day, but we do not really think about where it’s coming from.
