Carlos Gardel and Julio De Caro, two icons of one of the greatest expressions of Argentine culture. Thanks to everyone who wants to honor them, every December 11th is celebrated on National Tango Day.

In addition to being a musical style, Tango is a style of dance that, to the sensual compass that it carries, the woman follows the man in a series of steps that eliminates any space between body and body, and creates fantastic lines to each movement.

But why Tango Day?

Gardel and De Caro, both geniuses of Argentine music, curiously born on the same day, and joined a mutual friend. That guy was Ben Molar, Member of the National Academy of Tango of the Argentine Republic.

After several years of success of both, Molar decided to proposed to establish the National Tango Day. For 2009 Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Montevideo(Uruguay) they achieved that the UNESCO declared the tango Intangible Cultural Heritage of humanity.
